Victoria Tripp, LCSW, LICSW, OSW-C
Director of Clinical Services
Tori is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and completed her education at the National Catholic School of Social Service at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Prior to her completing her Master of Social Work, she was conferred her Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Catholic University and also completed a Certificate for Pastoral Ministry. Tori previously served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, co-facilitating a course for medical student cohorts focused on professional development and assessment skills. She also holds a Board of Oncology social worker certification and is a licensed psychotherapist in both Washington, DC, and Virginia.
During her career in outpatient oncology, Tori advocated and walked alongside many families through the process of diagnosis, treatment, end-of-life, and managing grief. Individuals suffering from chronic illnesses are often overwhelmed with numerous challenges, including family system dynamics and the tumult of intense and fluctuating emotions of fear, anxiety, depression, anger, and anticipatory grief. These challenges also raise existential questions about the meaning of life and personal faith. Tori’s experiences as a therapist have inspired her counseling style, which creates space for clients to process crucial questions about themselves, others, and the world without judgment.
Tori’s counseling approach uses solutions-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapies with a foundational perspective informed by attachment theory and family systems relationships. She specializes in clients over the age of 18. She is very passionate about counseling young adults who are suffering from disabling anxiety, depression, and grief, or otherwise needing counsel due to chronic illness, caregiving responsibilities, end-of-life issues, or spiritual distress.
Tori has completed training through the Enriching Communication Skills for Health Professionals in Oncofertility (ECHO) program from Moffitt Cancer Center and Sensitive Practice Training through Mount Sinai Health System. She has presented lectures on spirituality, the importance of self-care for those with chronic illness, how to tell the children about cancer, and how to support the mental health of cancer patients and their caregivers going through CAR T-cell immunotherapy treatment.
In her free time, Tori enjoys exploring coffee shops, farmers’ markets, and restaurants around Fredericksburg with her husband and daughters. To decompress, she loves to watch her chickens from the back porch with her dog, Hunter.

Heather Ulstad, M.S. MERP
Resident in Counseling
Heather serves a dual role at Revelations as both the Senior Operations Director and a Resident in Counseling. Her roles are supported by her education with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Wayne State University), a Certificate in Forensic Investigation (Wayne State University), and a Master of Science in Military and Emergency Responder Psychology [MERP] (Colorado State University Global). Her current work and practice fulfill a lifetime goal of providing personal development and mental health care to our military, veterans, first responders, and other high-risk occupations, as well as their loved ones. Heather recognizes a health care gap between the unique stressors and vital roles these individuals play and the resources available to integrate these occupational roles into our personal and family lives. These warrior and guardian roles often bleed into non-work areas in ways that can be unhelpful, and she aims to help us build better ways to live out our best personal and professional selves. Heather offers counseling and coaching to individuals, couples, and families, and focuses on promoting whole-health and performance by treating anxiety, stress, trauma (childhood, occupational, systemic), grief and loss, and building communication and conflict navigation skills.
Heather’s professional background provides a unique intersection of experience, with a strong foundation in psychological education and practical knowledge in responder service and culture from her experience as a federal law enforcement officer. Heather’s approach to counseling integrates cognitive-behavioral, existential, solutions-focused, and attachment-oriented modalities through a systems lens and a person-centered focus. Heather is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy through a certification program offered by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). She utilizes components of CBT, ACT, DBT, and IFS in counseling as well. As a counseling resident, she is not currently taking insurance but does offer promotional rates for military members, veterans, and first responders. She also provides sliding-scale rates.
Heather is originally from Michigan and was born in Detroit proper, where she lived and worked as a young adult. Detroit has a special place in her heart because, as she puts it, “That city has grit!” Detroit is also special because it’s the place where she met her husband, with whom she shares the joy of raising two boisterous girls. She enjoys being active in the outdoors, and you’ll find her running, cycling, and rollerblading as the seasons permit. She enjoys reading fantasy fiction, thrillers, and spiritual and professional development material, as well as live music. Heather appreciates a deep connection with dogs and revels in exploring new places with her family in their 17-foot bunkhouse camper.
